Good-Kruger DOll Company

Believe it or not, the Good-Kruger Doll Company found its beginnings in a dream. The story begins in 1977 when Julie Good-Kruger was finishing her undergraduate studies at Oxford University, England. Julie Good-Kruger was preparing to return to Saint Olaf College in Minnesota to receive her degree. She had been accepted to return to Oxford to do post graduate work in archeology, but Julie Good-Kruger had no way to pay her expenses.

One night Julie Good-Kruger had a dream in which she saw herself making dolls. When she awoke, she decided this was her answer. Julie Good-Kruger had a history of interest in dolls. Her grandmother had given her antique dolls as a child and Julie Good-Kruger had subscribed to doll magazines since this time

After three years of study and trial and error, Julie Good-Kruger's first dolls were ready for market in 1980. The Good-Kruger Doll Company grew, and in 1987 Good-Kruger introduced their dolls in vinyl. Today, Good-Kruger Dolls is housed in Strasberg Pennsylvania and her dolls are sold in every state of the U.S.
