Real Touch Vinyl

Real Touch vinyl is a composition of two plies of vinyl and silicone blended materials. This blend creates baby doll skin that is soft and supple, looks, feels, and sometimes even smells like real baby skin. This sort of manufacturing is considered a dramatic breakthrough in doll crafting and continues to astound doll collectors worldwide. Real Touch vinyl is trademarked by the Ashton Drake Galleries.

So Truly Real Collections

The “So Truly Real” Collections by Ashton Drake display the craftsmanship of renowned doll artists such as Linda Webb, Waltraud Hanl, Sandi Faber, Eva Hellend, and Bonnie Chyle. These baby dolls are marked by the fact that they exclusively use Real Touch vinyl and are scented with baby powder. Each has hand-applied hair and eyelashes, hand-painted fingernails and toenails, and is molded with life-like creases and folds.

Picture Perfect Baby Collection

“Picture Perfect Baby” collectible vinyl 22” dolls are delicately crafted with RealTouch vinyl skin to create the feel of a real baby. These precious babies have hand-applied hair gently brushed into a baby “do.” Delicate eyelashes frame their sparkling eyes, completing the irresistible look of a real baby. This collection is crafted my artists Waltraud Hanl, Tinneke Janssens, Stephanie Sullivan, and Sandy Faber.

Cuddles for the Cure Series

“Cuddles for the Cure” 10” inch babies are the first-ever collection of So Truly Real “Tiny Miracles” breast cancer charity dolls. These unique babies, created by acclaimed master doll artist Cheryl Hill, are available only through the Ashton Drake Galleries. Each tiny baby, pink-themed baby is created with RealTouch vinyl skin, micro-rooted hair, real baby eyelashes, and hand-painted fingernails and toenails.

Heavenly Handfuls

These tiny 4 ½” miniature baby dolls, crafted by Dorthy Stevens, and Brooke Cunningham, are an Ashton Drake exclusive. Their hand-painted, soft, posable bodies give them the look and feel of a full sized baby doll.

Blossom Scented Babies

Renowned doll artist Michelle Fagan designed these 20 ½” sweet smelling baby dolls. Each of the fragrant babies have a small sack of potpourri tucked gently into the appliquéd pocket on her blanket. The “blossoms” are all delicately crafted with RealTouch vinyl skin , hand-applied hair and eyelashes, and hand-painted fingernails and toenails.
